In Judaism, Tzedakah refers to the religious obligation to do what is right and just, which Judaism emphasizes are important parts of living a spiritual life. The act of Tzedakah is in keeping with the Jewish value of Tikkun Olam — making the world a better place.
Making a charitable gift to Temple Emanu-El is a special way to commemorate or remember family, friends, and neighbors on all types of occasions. Membership fees and donations to Temple Emanu-El are tax-exempt in accordance with our status as a 501(c)(3) organization.
